The thing about hygge is that it´s a mental state of being in the now and feeling good about it with no wants for anything outside the situation/circumstance you´re in.
For instance: You can have a bunch of guys sitting on top of a pile of junk watching the sports in tv and if they all want for nothing else than that in full acceptance of themselves, each other and the situation the entire setting would be " hyggelig " which literaly translates to: Like hygge !
