They live in the woods and are all about nature, cooking, foraging and general slow, wonderful living 🙂

Hi Emma, I really loved this video, I feel like this is how I stared out parenting nearly four years ago but since having my second child (and an ocd husband) I’ve become stressy and at times really hard (not in a nasty way just expecting too much) on my kids. The house feels quite manic and so do I and the children. It’s been really good watching this because I can now remember how I used to be and realise i need to focus on getting back here. Thanks for posting. It’s so easy to get swept along in life and for it all to become a blur of rushing and stressing over things that actually don’t matter. More slow days. Less plans, and more of me giving my children my time rather than constantly saying “in a minute mummy is busy” xxx
I absolutely do not believe you can espouse reckless tips like this…..are you a child ignoring another child’s folly or a parent establishling safe rules and guidelines for a child? Standing on tables ? Sorry, but you need to learn that a child needs a firm NO when safety is at risk. Set boundaries that will actually make your child feel secure in your care for them.
Thank you for sharing these!! I need tips like this constantly in my life. Love it and love the collab with @foxmeetsbear 💜
My son loves the wooden train set! He’s set for hours with it
I should state that I happened upon your video entirely by accident and so rarely do I ever feel compelled to comment publicly, but honestly I do believe many young women are spending lots of time creating videos and blogs and responding to same while their children are left to fend for themselves while mummy is on the computer. Your parenting advice would be far more suitable were your children in primary school and not needing your attention ar this very moment. Please put your life into proper perspective…..close the technology and put down the phone and tell your child he must wear socks and shoes outside and he must stay off the table. You can get on facebook when he is asleep, assuming he doesn’t tell you his bedtime is midnight.
Your Collabs are the best!
As a teacher this is exactly what we use especially in early years calm approach and open questions lots of problem solving 🙂
#mamagoals 💕
really….let your child stand on a table or walk around outside without shoes or dress yourself whenever…..that is lazy slacker parenting
Totally love this Emma 😀 And so cool to get to know Fox Meets bear through your collab too 😀
Wonderful tips! Positive parenting is so important for happy parents and children. I implement a lot of these and I find minimalism massively helps. However, I am guilty of adding too much into our week quite often and life is much less stressful when I don’t. Poppy x
just wonder, what camera do you use to film?? You have such a fresh image!
Love it Emma! So many wonderful points, positive parenting is so important and I think it really shines though in your two little cuties. ❤️✨
Hi Emma, I really enjoyed this video – thank you. I’m going to cut out the morning radio and play more chilled out music instead. I totally agree that children (or 9 month old in my case) need a calm environment. I’m also a big fan of Fox Meets Bear, so great to see the two of you in action. One question for you – I know you are a big coffee drinker (me too!), so I wanted to ask which beans you use? I’m looking for a good cheap alternative to the roasteries; we buy Monmouth or Spike beans every so often, but they’re too pricey to drink on a daily basis. Thanks! x
I love this! Not got my own children yet but I’m a training paediatric nurse and hope to use some of this in practice
I don’t even have kids and me and my partner are honestly not sure if we will ever have children but I love watching videos by people who are into zero waste/minimalism and also try to approach parenthood more gently. It gives me so much food for thought and I feel well prepared for if we ever do decide to have a child. Thanks for this video, it was so nice and uplifting to watch
